The fine structure enables good moisture retention and easier water absorption, creating favorable conditions for the rooting and growth of acidophilic plants.
For larger quantities, it is possible to order in packages of 70, 250 and 5500 liters.
Can be ordered in fractions 0-20mm, 10-30mm, 0-40mm and 20-40mm with acidic or regulated pH as well as with or without wetting agent.

The pH value of peat is 3.8–4.0 (measured in H₂O), which is ideal for acidophilic plants. The acidic environment enables optimal uptake of nutrients and healthy root development.

Most often, it is not planted directly in peat. In pure acid peat, there are no NPK fertilizers added, and as such peat is most often used as a base for mixing with other substances in order to obtain a finished substrate.
