QTS 1, 10-40 mm (for surfinia and large plants)

Substrate fraction 10–40 mm, pH values 5.0–5.5 in H₂O, with the addition of clay, NPK fertilizer and wetting agent, is intended for picking and transplanting plants. The larger structure provides good aeration and space for the branching roots of larger plants, while the clay helps retain moisture and nutrients. It is especially often used for surfing.
